(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Luli, the moderately priced French lingerie brand, that emphasizes its extensive color palate and mix and match abilities, is coming back to CurveNY (booth 901), and will also be at Curve in Las Vegas (booth 225) this August. The firm has also added four new colors to its summer, 2013 LuliColor collection: lemon, poppy, orange and lilac, for a total of 17 shades of lingerie.
In addition to the LuliColor solid basics, the firm has a “luxury” line of more elaborate styles with prints and laces, LuliParis. To this collection the firm has added the Daphnee group, which it describes as “a light iridescent veil of silk over a bra. Very sensual, to dress your customers of a light gold dust. A delicious line that will make” one’s Valentine “fall apart.” Glimpses of that collection are visible in a video on the company’s website.
Retail prices for Luli’s bras in the “basic” collections range from $24,95 to about $29,95. Bras in the more elaborately fashioned LuliParis line retail from $39,95 to $59,95. Retail prices for the panties in the basic grouping range in price from $12,95 to $14,95; in the “luxury” collections, from $19,95 to $25,95. Everything is produced in China at a dedicated factory.
Distribution of the collection in North America is in the hands of Mathieu Desjardins of Cruise & Co Fashion Inc., whose company also handles the Pain de Sucre, Suggest and Paladini high-end lingerie and swimwear lines. Jean-Luc David, general director of Luli, attended Curve in New York last winter.
