Coming for spring 2013, SkinnySwim is the first collection of shaping swimwear from established shapewear producer Sassybax. “The Sassybax customer has always been the 35 to 55-year-old Neimans to Nordstrom customer,” explained owner Amanda Kennedy. “But our swimwear is for anyone who likes to trim 10 to 20 pound off the appearance of their shape in swimwear.”

SkinnySwim suits are available in four silhouettes, Shaper Basic Tank Suit, Shaper Malloit, Shaper Roughed Halter Suit and Tankini, in sizes ranging from 2 to 18, in both long and short torso versions. Wholesale prices range from $50 to $80 and suggested retail prices range from $130 to $210. According to Kennedy, SkinnySwim will also offer cover-ups for all styles

The suits are made in the U.S. of Italian fabrics, and come in fuchsia, cobalt, loden, navy, black, white, lavender and coral. The line ships immediately from inventory in Los Angeles.
