(Filed Under Fashion News). Frederick’s of Hollywood has announced the appointment of Linda LoRe as the company’s new president. She will remain the company’s CEO of the retail division and a member of the company’s board of directors.
Additional responsibilities include merchandising, marketing and product development activities.
“We believe that Linda LoRe’s expanded role in the company’s wholesale as well as retail divisions will facilitate our continuing efforts to capitalize upon the synergies created from the merger and maximize shareholder value,” said the company’s newly-appointed CEO, Thomas Lynch.
Frederick’s also announced that Melvyn Knigin will transition from his position as president and CEO of the Movie Star wholesale division to senior vice president of sales and has resigned from the company’s board of directors.
Wholesaler Movie Star Inc. and retailer Frederick's of Hollywood merged to form Frederick's of Hollywood Group Inc. in January 2008.
