(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). The Paris Mode City lingerie and swim show which just ended, attracted 15,324 buyers this year, slightly more than for last year’s July show, according exhibition management.
“Despite an uncertain economic context and bad weather, Mode City, the international lingerie and swimwear trade show, confirmed its position as world leader for the market,” according to a show spokesperson, who noted that last year 15,209 buyers attended. “Thanks to the efforts of 16 promotional offices around the world, approximately 600 retailers in 13 countries were visited by trade show teams, and 10,000 were contacted by telephone in a campaign for the summer session. The trade show also offered complimentary travel to around 75 key buyers and partnered with different brand agents and retail associations across Europe, thus mobilizing their networks.”
