Hanro has launched its latest collection of intimates, and is getting a strong response for its “re-launched cotton seamless collection, which is a consumer favorite,” according to a company spokesperson, who added, “We are also seeing good sell thru in our new shapewear collection.”
“In women’s sleepwear, styles from our Moments collection, made of mercerized cotton and lace are selling well,” she continued, adding “In men’s our new Micro Touch Styles, which [are made from] an innovative blend of microfiber and elastane, are retailing very well.”
Wholesale item prices for the current Hanro collections average about $35 for women’s daywear, $68 for women’s sleepwear, $35 for men’s daywear and $71 for men’s sleepwear. Suggested retail prices per item average $77 for women’s daywear, $150 for women’s sleepwear, $77 for men’s daywear and $170 for men’s sleepwear. Sizes range from XS to XL in the women’s collections and S to XXL in the men’s group. Minimum order is $300 or 12 units and orders are shipped from Eatontown, NJ.
Most of Hanro’s fabrics are made “in house in our factory near Lake Constance on the Austrian Swiss border. Most of the garments are then sewn in Europe,” claims the spokesperson. The company utilizes cotton and “technical fabrics,” with many garments trimmed in guipure or French leavers laces.
Hanro is available in better specialty stores as well as departments stores including Bloomingdales, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue
