(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Leg Avenue has significantly expanded its commitment to the plus size customer, publishing its first plus catalog and adding many new plus styles, including several that are exclusive to its plus division.

“Going into 2012, Leg Avenue had a small assortment of styles which were primarily plus size versions of styles from the regular line,,” explained Lisa Griffin, marketing manager. “The most exciting thing about the new collection is that the designs are exclusively for plus size, offering our fuller sized customers a beautiful and sexy lingerie collection that is just for them.” She noted that “There are 43 pages in the new Leg Avenue Plus Size Lingerie catalog [that] includes 36 new designs and a select group of carry over items.”

According to designer Crystal Lopez “Our new plus sized line addresses the need to have fuller cups, bra straps that are providing support and adjustability. The silhouettes are flattering, accentuating a woman’s best assets with strategically placed panels and supportive fabric. We saw a hole in the current plus sized market, as well as our own line, so we created pretty, lush, lingerie that has a slight retro feel to it. We gave the plus sized and curvy woman more options to feel sexy in corsets, bustiers, and chemises with cups built in. So many more options than what our existing line consisted of.”

Griffin added, “Our plus size lingerie collection features a select group of carry over body stockings and chemises. The new collection features designs in both of those categories, as well as adding corsets, cami-garters, mini dresses, and panties to the collection assuring that there is truly something for everyone’s taste.”

Retail prices in the plus collection range from $10 to $80.
