Leg Avenue Has New ’Rave Wear’ Collection

(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Leg Avenue has launched a colorful new ‘Rave Wear’ collection, comprising over 50 styles which the company displays in a new 32-page catalog. The line can be seen in person at the upcoming International Lingerie Show (March 26-28). Suggested retail prices for pieces in the Rave collection range from $10 to $30.

Designer Erin Seelert explained that “Leg Avenue launched the new Ravewear collection because we wanted to revamp what was previously our Clubwear line and to introduce it in a way that would appeal to a younger and much broader market. Our goal was for the styling of the catalogue to show crossover within our lines (i.e. Hosiery and Costume) because we feel that the customer attending a rave/electronic music festival or even a gogo dancer, will buy 5-10 different pieces and layer them together.” She continued that, “Some of the pieces in the line are existing styles and some are new, but the way we styled them together depicts to buyers, and in turn, retail customers, the different pieces put together as a complete look.” She noted that the presentation is intended inspire customers “to create their own looks using pieces from our line.”

The designer added that “What is happening in the Ravewear market that inspired us, was the fact that there isn’t anyone out there offering basics with a twist and fun rave-inspired accessories that people can buy to create their own one-of-a-kind look.”
