(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Bragel International has launched major product initiatives in recent months, all designed to take the company’s existing NuBra line of adhesive bras and bra accessories to new levels. The first additions were the 3D NuBra and NuBra Airy collections. And now comes the “NuBra x Bradelis New York” line (pronounced bra-de-lease), which was exhibited in the Bragel booths at the most recent Curve shows in Las Vegas and New York. These are adhesive bras that are very definitely meant to be seen, not hidden under a garment. The retail price range for this show off collection is $65 to $220.
Some of the bras have a bold leopard pattern, others are encrusted with Swarovski crystals, beads, sequins or embroidery. Several sport a prominent bow, set either between the breasts or atop the cup of a single breast. Some styles glimmer with a mass of gleaming silver sequins, some are profusely trimmed across the top with ruffles. The creators of the Bradelis collection envisions women exposing a portion of these bras, perhaps through a semi transparent blouse, or in the open cleavage. In a publicity photo displayed at Curve a model is shown in a very low cut evening gown which reveals the upper half of a Bradelis bra decorated with a prominent black sequin bow atop the right cup. According to Daren Peng of Bragel, “Several buyers from the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Asia expressed strong interest in this unique collection and have already placed orders on styles that meet their specific clientele profile and will receive their initial orders shortly.”
The Bradelis collection was designed by Gold Flag, a Japanese intimates company, and produced by Bragel. Gold Flag operates almost 20 retail stores in Asia and the U.S, most under the Bradelis name. In addition to the Bradelis stores, the new adhesive bras are also being offered on wholesale basis to all other stores by Bragel International (Daren Peng, 909 598 8808, ext. 222, daren@bragel.com).
In the earlier initiatives, Bragel gave its original NuBra a quality makeover, resulting in the 3D NuBra. The 3D NuBra takes the best properties of the original design, but adds a contoured edge to provide a better, more comfortable fit. The 3D NuBra features completely seamless edges, ensuring invisibility under even the tightest tops. With Airy, Bragel found a way to make its medical-grade silicone adhesive cups lighter and more cool. The new cups weigh 20 percent less than the company’s existing seamless styles and incorporate a more breathable design the cuts the levels of heat and moisture inside the cups.
According to Peng, “Buyers all agree that the lighter and breathable NuBra Airy bra cups will give retail customer more reasons to buy this extremely comfortable, supportive and figure enhancing wardrobe solution based on a proven design from NuBra.” The NuBra styles wholesale for $16 to $35 and accommodate cup sizes A to E. Styles are manufactured in and ship from the United States. Bragel International is based in Pomona, California.
