(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). BodyZone recently expanded its private label program for retailers, as well as adding styles to its Naughty Sexy line of boxed lingerie.
Speaking of the Naughty Sexy collection, Will Zeller, a company executive, declared, “Our goal is to have dancers look at our sexy apparel next to the competition’s and take BodyZone to the register. We wanted the quality difference to be visible. This new collection is made entirely in the USA. The retailers asked for a better quality dance wear line this year and here are all the elements. We used the best quality rhinestones and accessories to make a significantly better product.”
The collection now contains about two dozen styles, all of them emphasizing different ways of providing minimal coverage in a unique fashion. Included are several lace-up numbers, lots of strings, rings, jewels and ribbon. One particularly interesting style is the Femme Fatale, featuring three large rings in front, one that attaches to the bra, one that attaches to a narrow, vertical strip of fabric below, and a middle one that connects to the other two rings. In back are strings that stretch from the neck all the way down between the buttocks. It is available in shiny black and magenta.
Another interesting and unique style is the Shimmy Shake, made of shiny, blood red fabric, which features one long swath of black fringe that hangs between the breasts and another that stretches from garter to garter across the crotch. One style fits all.
There is also the String Thing, which features a 2-inch V of stretch lace that starts at the shoulders, covers the nipples and ends in the crotch. The V is held in place with a lace-work of elastic cords as well as three circular rhinestone accent pieces. The back is all strings with a tiny bow over the buttocks.
In other news, BodyZone is now offering an extensive private label service for retailers that features a very small, 50-piece minimum order. Stores can specify or purchase a desired fabric and style, then have BodyZone produce the finished garments at its U.S. production facilities. Zeller claims BodyZone production, including garment labeling, can be done at a lower cost than with competing methods.
BodyZone will also handle the photography and models to create images of the line, and then even help the retailer set up its own website.
