(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Despite the slow job market, Music Legs, the hosiery, lingerie and clubwear brand, reported hiring new staff and expanding their warehouse space. The seven new hires include full-time fashion designers, customer service reps, a warehouse manager and an office manager. National Sales manager Mark Rosenfeld said "we continue to grow and expand the line, so in order to keep up pace with customer demand we decided to hire more people." He added that the company is in the process of hiring more people.
To add physical space to meet their needs at their Alhambra, California headquarters, Music Legs took over a vacant warehouse adjacent to theirs, "now we will have space for everyone: new conference room and showroom area for visitors and more warehouse capacity," added Rosenfeld.
This is the first year the company has been selling sexy costumes under the Terminator license and according to Rosenfeld, the line has exceeded sales expectations. "I knew it would be popular as the Terminator franchise is iconic, but I never thought it would sell quite this well," said Rosenfeld. "The designers captured the edginess of the property, while making it sexy and fun." The company signed the license at the 2011 Licensing Show and has been selling the line at a variety of retail outlets, including online.
The company will be launching a new burlesque line and an expanded clubwear line this spring. They will be unveiling new packaging as well. Rosenfeld said he hopes the launch will be ready for the ILS show in Las Vegas in March.
