PJ Salvage: Back With Expanded Collection

Modal Chemise in an Image Decorating the P.J. Salvage MAGIC Booth

(Filed Under wholesale Loungewear News). (MAGIC Report) P.J. Salvage was back at MAGIC (February 13-15) in its usual spot, offering an expanded selection, which included such additions as sweaters, hats and boots.

Edgy images in and around the booth featured an oriental model wearing the latest styles from the sleep and lounge-oriented brand.

We liked a chemise, part of “our Modal program that has been running for eight years now” according to owner Peter Burke. “The business grows and grows.”

The Modal chemise retails for $65, while pants in the same fabrication retail for $60, shorts for $40 and robes for $40.

We also liked a robe in a “marshmallow” micro poly, with a large, bold black and white houndstooth pattern. The robe was shown in a photo, pulled open to reveal a lacy black bra. Just a bit sexier than the usual P.J. Salvage image. Deliveries for the robe, which only comes in black and white, is scheduled for August.

“We interpret sleepwear differently than other people,” said Burke. “Robes have been really good.”

“Our line has that cross over,” continued Burke. “It goes from a younger girl wearing a bottom and a little camisole, to a young contemporary woman who wants to be fashionable 24-7.”
