(Filed Under wholesale Hosiery News). (MAGIC REPORT) A hosiery company showing for the first time at MAGIC (February 13-15) was French Curve, with styles made in both Italy and Taiwan. Owner Kaiser Sharif told BODY that he “always” has a booth at Project, but decided to test MAGIC as well this year. Interviewed on the first day of the show, he had not made up his mind yet about MAGIC.
The three-year-old firm, which offers an extensive collection of sox, hosiery, leggings and tights, generally in the $12-$14 range, ships from standing inventory in its New Jersey warehouse. Order minimums are six pieces per style.
“We offer unique designs and high quality merchandise,” said Sharif, who targets high end boutiques and chain stores. Department stores are where he wants to go next. Current retail outlets include such stores as Free People and LF Stores.
Our favorite stockings at the show were a group with crisp, irregular bands of color up the leg. The style is Cosmo, made in Italy and wholesaling for $12.
