(Filed Under wholesale Basics News). Intimo Intimates, an intimate apparel, sleepwear and loungewear manufacturer, is launching a women’s collection this season, featuring silks and fine knits as well as organic cotton.

The collection is comprised of foundations, daywear and sleepwear pieces. Panties are set at a wholesale range of $4 to $8; bras are range from $5 to $12 and camisoles and chemises range from $14 up to $28. Sizes are available in XS through XL and 32 to 38 BCD.

According to Bruce Ostrow, the president of the women’s division, a big seller for the company are the loungepants, “which are incorporated into every grouping, regardless of the fabrication,” he said.

In addition to the use of “luxury fabrics,” Intimo is also doing a line called Green Chicks Rule, which is done in 100 percent organic cotton. The company has previously used eco-friendly fabrics in the men’s range, which is a family brand called Organic Funny Farm.

Green Chicks Rule is comprised of cheerleader shorts, pants, camisoles and more. As opposed to targeting a more “missy customer,” which is the basic Intimo intimate’s focus, the company is trying to cater to the junior market with this collection, said Ostrow. This collection will begin shipping in June.

In addition, the company is also offering complete collections in stretch lace and micro fiber.

“Our goal is to offer luxury products that will be affordable to the consumer, as well as profitable for the retailers as to assist all parties in the economic challenges we face,” said Ostrow.
