(Filed Under wholesale Costume News). New York-based costume company FunWorld showed its Happy Hour collection at the International Halloween Show in New York, a range of costumes aimed at "the 18- to 24-year-old, alcohol-drinking college crowd," according to sales manager Alexander Losito.
The Happy Hour costumes come with beverage dispensing accessories in the form of shot glasses, flasks and mini-kegs that are specifically tailored to the design of each costume. The popular looks have occupational themes — cops, fire fighters, nurses, military styles, highway workers or religious personnel — with the beverage dispensers contained in belts, ammo packs, weapons or books. The Happy Hour line has expanded to include international culture-themed costumes, including takes on traditional German, Irish and Scottish looks as well as the FunWorld’s bestselling "Tequila Poppin’ Dude" and "Sexy Shooter" Mexican costumes.
Due to their immense popularity, FunWorld also sells the drinking accessories separately so that consumers can have back-ups or create their own looks around the theme. Costumes are typically available in XS to XL sizes with some looks available in plus sizes and wholesale in the $20 to $60 range.
