(Filed Under retail Lingerie News). Retailer Abercrombie & Fitch plans to open a Gilly Hicks — the company’s lingerie chain — on Regent Street in London.

The store will be the second Gilly Hicks location in England. The first store is an outlet at a Westfield shopping center in west London. Abercrombie & Fitch has also announced plans to expand the Gilly Hicks chain in Europe and will open stores in Wales and Germany by the end of the year.

"Gilly Hicks is doing very well," stated Abercrombie & Fitch C.E.O. Michael Jeffries. "It is clearer who the target customer is."

The New Albany, Ohio-based company was operating 19 Gilly Hicks stores at the end of the third quarter.
