(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Top Form International Ltd., one of the largest global original-equipment manufacturers of lingerie, said as many as 200 employees staged a five-day strike at a company plant in Shenzhen, China.
Workers started to strike on Nov. 16 and returned to work Nov. 22. According to a press release from nonprofit China Labor Watch, the workers were striking to protest the company’s wage system. More strikes at manufacturing plants across China have been reported recently as the country’s inflation level rises. In September, several hundred employees of lingerie producer Triumph International AG went on strike at a Hainan, China-based factory.
Top Form International Ltd. is based in Hong Kong.
