(Filed Under Event News). Eurovet, the organizing company of the Interfilière trade shows, reported that the number of attendees and exhibitors exceeded expectations at the Interfilière Shanghai and Shanghai Mode Lingerie shows held Oct. 18 to 19, 2011.

241 exhibiting companies displayed wares to 6,935 attendees from 55 countries at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, up from Eurovet’s initial prediction of 180 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors. Attendees from China made up 68 percent of the total figure; however, there was a notable 58 percent increase in visitors from the United States as well as 25 percent increase in attendees from Japan. Visitors enjoyed multiple fashion shows as well as seminars on subjects including proper fitting, marketing and retailing innovations, international style and 2013 trends.

The next Interfilière trade show will be held Jan. 21 to 23 at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, France.
