(Filed Under wholesale Socks News). New York-based Soxland, a hosiery and socks manufacturer, has introduced a new eco-friendly collection with four separate ranges sharing a common goal: to raise the consciousness of consumers to live a “green” life.
The collection, entitled Greenology, uses products such as bamboo, organic cotton and organic dyes to promote its “Go Green” message, which is represented under the four ranges: Reduce Reuse Recycle, Stop Global Warming, Go Organic and Save Endangered Species.
Greenology, which is also packaged in recycled materials, has over 300 designs and a main color palette of more natural and neutral colors because it is “a reflection of what exists in our natural world,” said Susan Reese, vice president of the company.
Prints under the Reduce Reuse Recycle range include the recycling symbol, the sun, trees, hearts, peace signs and a character with the words save our earth written above her head.
Stop Global Warming features prints of the earth, the map of the world, bicycles and colorful peace signs.
Frogs, tiny canvas totes with the recycling symbol and organic vegetable prints make up the Go Green range.
Lastly, the Save Endangered species range includes prints of panda bears, sea turtles and bumblebees.
The socks retail from $4 to $12 and are at a wholesale price of $1.50 to $2.50.
The company is also looking to expand its eco-friendly fabric range to include coconut and recycled yarn.
Founded over 20 years ago, Soxland also designs and manufactures Davco, its own house brand of socks.
