(Filed Under wholesale Costume News). Coquette International will launch the latest catalog of their Darque line on February 9th. It includes Darque's 34 new styles ranging from a S-2X, as well as in O/S (one-size).
New in the line are printed fabrics. According to the company's public relations director, Rebecca Goettling, trends prevalent in the new garments are high-waists and big buttons inspired by 1950s pin-up style. There are also many printed skull fabrics modeled after the "rock 'n' roll retro image."
The company will also launch their 2009 Halloween Masquerade costume collection on February 9th, which they showcased at the Halloween and Party Expo in late January. It includes 128 total costumes with 37 new ones. New are additional themed costumes such a fantasy, viking, retro, and horror theme with more traditional Halloween costumes like a male zombie and a mummy bride. Another new touch is that some of their accessories, such as wings, are now sewn directly onto the garments.
