(Filed Under Textiles News). Australian lingerie brand Berlei and Spanish textile group Dogi were the winners of the Ultra Lingerie competition at July’s Interfilière Paris trade show.
Dogi emerged as a favorite, as the company supplied materials for not only winning brand Berlei, but seven other competing brands, including Eveden Huit, Episode, Gossard, Magistral, Marysia, Miss Bikini and Melissa Odabash. Ultimately, an intricate sheer black one-piece by Berlei took the top prize.
Berlei was founded in 1917 and creates lingerie, shapewear and activewear. Dogi was founded in 1954 and manufactures elastic fabric for high-end intimate apparel and swimwear companies.
