(Filed Under wholesale Activewear News). Activewear producer Marika is expanding its three different lines, incorporating the latest trends and technology into its garments to ensure that wearers get the most functional and stylish products available.
Marika’s original label consists of lifestyle-driven activewear designed for a range of activities encompassing everything from low-impact yoga and stretching to high-impact cardio. The company is strengthening its core brand with the addition of Marika Tek, garments made with the company’s exclusive Dry-Wik fabric, a soft, breathable, moisture-wicking polyster/spandex blend. Marika Tek’s fall/holiday 2011 collection includes hoodies, zip-ups, sports bras, padded tanks, shorts, capris, leggings and yoga pants. Garments are available in heather charcoal, black, white, black with colored trim, pink and blue in sizes S to XL. Marika Tek styles wholesale for $17.50 to $27.50 with a suggested retail price range of $35 to $58.
Marika’s second brand, the Balance Collection, focuses on yoga- and Pilates-friendly garments that are stylish enough to wear outside of the gym. Styles include patterned and tie-dyed tanks, hoodies and yoga pants in sizes S to XL that wholesale for $22.50 to $30 with a suggested retail range of $45 to $60.
Marika has garnered acclaim for its shaping Marika Miracles line, along with stretch cotton shaping sub-brand Marika Magic. "We are working constantly to bring the most innovative and desirable shape-enhancing activewear products to the market and to introduce new products to this outstandingly successful line," said Frank Zarabi, chief executive officer and owner of FAM Brands, Marika’s parent company. Made with patented and patent-pending designs and fabrics, including exclusive ELASTA-TIGHT Dry-Wik fabric, fall/holiday styles include sports bras with lift as well as tummy-control tanks, T-shirts, shorts, capris, leggings and pants in sizes S to XL. Marika’s shaping activewear wholesales for $22.50 to $30, while suggested retail prices range from $45 to $60.
Marika has also struck several exclusive deals with retailers, including manufacturing a private activewear label called Shape Tek for Dick’s Sporting Goods and developing plus-size garments for Lane Bryant’s online store. Marika styles are available at retailers and boutiques across the U.S., including Lady Foot Locker, Academy Sports + Outdoors and Kohl’s.
