(Filed Under Fashion News). The upcoming annual convention “Adapting to Change” held by the Hosiery Association will consist of three days of seminars and conferences featuring legwear executives from Central America, China, Korea, Mexico and Pakistan.
On the first day, attendees can expect to participate in conferences that will review U.S. and world regional economies and what expectations are for the next 12 to 24 months as it pertains to growth, labor costs, currency, raw material costs, inflation levels and other key indicators of economic activity.
There will also be a panel of key legwear companies from China, Korea and Southeast Asia that will discuss what’s happening in its specific region and what it envisions going forward.
Other conferences include interactive discussions that will address: global cost implications on production; cost drivers to importing hosiery products into the U.S. over the next 12 to 24 months; sustainable manufacturing in the legwear industry; and a what you can/should do in the U.S. and what to encourage your international suppliers to do for supplying the U.S. market.
The convention will be held from April 23rd through the 26th at the Hilton Oceanfront Resort in South Carolina. The registration deadline for the convention is March 19th.see more
