(Filed Under wholesale Loungewear News). After focusing on soft stretch silk looks for fall/winter 2011, New York-based brand Ombrato is debuting woven cotton looks for spring/summer 2012.
Cotton sleepwear and loungewear woven cotton styles will include camisoles, chemises, pajama pants, bras and panties from fabrics made mostly in Japan. "We wanted to add the lightness and clean feeling that cotton inspires," said Ombrato founder Masako Shirokawa. Spring/summer styles will also include silk looks, like Ombrato’s bestselling style, a stretch silk charmeuse slip, in a new dark teal colorway.
Ombrato is aiming their newest styles at women in their 20s and older who appreciate spending time at home in quality loungewear just as much as going out in nice clothes. "Many of our garments can be worn as outerwear," Shirokawa said, "so we would like our customers to wear them creatively."
Garments are available in sizes XS to XL and wholesale from $20 to $110 with a recommended retail price range of $44 to $240. Ombrato products are manufactured in and shipped from New York City and there is no minimum order for retailers.
Collections by Ombrato are currently carried by U.S. stores A Finer Fit in Greenville, S.C. and Lille Boutique in Portland, Ore.
