(Filed Under wholesale Accessories News). Belgium-based polyurethane manufacturing group Recticel has added a new temperature-sensitive foam to its Body Foams product range, allowing for the creation of intimate apparel garments of the highest comfort level.

The new foam, Memocel, has unique shape memory properties that react at warmer temperatures. "When brought in contact with the human skin, the material becomes softer and more elastic, allowing for increased freedom of movement," stated Recticel international sales manager Bert Van Langendonck.

In addition to Memocel, Recticel’s Body Foams line consists of Bulfast, a light, stable foam; PureFeel, an eco-friendly foam; and Bodicel and Optical Whites, delayed yellowing polyurethane foams. Memocel will be introduced to the public during the Interfilière Paris trade show on July 9 to 11, 2011.
