(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). While profit margins continue to expand and the company does exhibit revenue growth, Wacoal Holdings Corp., the Japan-based parent company of Wacoal America, failed to match last year’s performance in earnings per share during this most recent quarter.
Wacoal Holdings Corp.’s net income decreased by 87.7 percent when compared to the same quarter last year, sliding from -$13.41 million to -$25.18 million. The dramatic change in net income shows the company is underperforming when compared to the S&P 500 and the textiles, apparel and luxury good industry overall.
Wacoal Holdings Corp.’s cash generation rate is also lower than the industry average, with net operating cash flow decreased 81.67 percent to $1.45 million when compared to the same quarter one year ago.
Wacoal Holdings Corp. engages in the design, manufacture and sale of women’s intimate apparel, including lingerie, sleepwear and foundation garments.
