(Filed Under Fashion News). After launching its underwear product line in 1999, ten years later Esprit is presenting a new freestanding Bodywear concept store for 2009.
The concept store debuted at the Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris this January. An exact opening date for the brick and mortar store, which will be located in Europe, has not yet been set, but the company said it will open by summer 2009.
The store will carry Esprit's bodywear, nightwear, loungewear and swimwear, as well as beach towels, slippers, wellness products and jewelry.
The centerpiece of the concept is the back wall, which will "enable a harmonious presentation of all the product categories," said the company. "The contemporary, loft-inspired design of the back wall, as well as a newly designed cart and lighting system, provide a sophisticated, and at the same time pleasant, shopping ambiance."
Esprit Bodywear is planning a total of three store openings for 2009, which will be located in Belgium, Austria and Germany.
Esprit currently manages around 450 locations for independent partners across Europe with approximately 77,000-square-feet of sales area for bodywear.
