(Filed Under wholesale Hosiery News). Kayser-Roth is now the exclusive licensee for several Jockey sock and hosiery categories, Jockey International announced Monday. This license was previously held by Doris Hosiery Mills, which will continue as the Jockey shapewear licensee.
Through the agreement, Kayser-Roth will produce Jockey men and women’s casual, sport and dress socks, and sheers, tights and leggings. According to Jockey, Kayser-Roth is an innovative supplier of legwear and intimate apparel best known for its No-Nonsense and Hue brands, which can found through Macy’s, Kmart and other drug store and department store chains. Italy-based Golden Lady owns the company.
“Kayser-Roth is a clear leader in the sock and legwear industry with strong and successful retail partnerships. They bring an outstanding team of senior management and brand marketers,” said Milou Gwyn, senior vice president of domestic licensing for Jockey. “Their record of success gives Jockey a great level of confidence with this partnership.”
Kevin Toomey, C.E.O of Kayser-Roth, also expects a successful collaboration. “We are very happy to establish a partnership with Jockey to create legwear products for men and women that are supported by the strength of the Jockey brand,” he said. “The combined assets of our organizations will bring quality, style, newness and value to Jockey’s customers.”
Jockey International is a privately held company established in 1876. It is products are now distributed in over 120 countries.
