(Filed Under Textiles News). Eurovet, the organizing company of Interfilière, reported that 281 of the 300 anticipated exhibitors have already signed up for the intimates and beachwear textile tradeshow, which will be held in conjunction with Mode City from July 9 through 11 at Pavilion 1 of Paris’ Porte De Versailles.
“Interfilière and Mode City will be inaugurating their new dates,” said Eurovet about the shows, which previously took place every September. “Ideally-timed for the profession, the shows will kick-start the season, trends and fabric sourcing at the heart of a new venue: pavilion 1.”
New exhibitors at Interfilière include Elastic Textile Europe from Germany; Henitex International from France; Yao I Fabric from Taiwan; Azizem Teksil from Turkey; Edor from Portugal; and Eurospal from Italy, among others. Among returning exhibitors are Christian Eschler from Switzerland; Maute + Renz Textil from Germany; Veropiz from Italy and others.
These exhibitors will be divided into seven sections: Lace It (traditional lace); Brod’Cust (embroidery); Neoskin (knits, wovens, prints and embellishments); Access’Folies (finishing touches like beads, braids, buttons and ribbons); Hi’Tech (technology innovations with fibers, yarns and machines); Textile Designers; and Trend Offices.
700 “VIP” guests will be invited to the runway show, taking place on the evening of Saturday, July 9 at the Pavilion Cambon, Place Vendome. Beachwear and intimate apparel prototypes by a variety of companies will be sent down the runway under the theme “Travel Diaries.” This theme is divided into three categories: “Oriental Desires,” based on China, India and the Middle East with ornamental elements paired with references to the Russian ballet; “Dreams of Africa,” with safari looks and tribal influences; and “Polar Night Treasures,” boasting fur accents and “a light, floating and evanescent feel.”
The entry price for Interfilière is 20 Euros if registered in advance and 30 Euros if purchased on site; equivalent to approximately $29 to $43, respectively, at the current exchange rate.
