(Filed Under retail Lingerie News). Ronell (Ron) Simpson, who ran three Adam & Eve franchise stores in St. Augustine and Jacksonville, Fla., passed away in his St. Augustine home on Sunday, April 3. He was diagnosed with cancer in December 2010.

Larry Garland, president of Eldorado, described Mr. Simpson as a close friend. “He ran some of the best performing stores in the Adam & Eve network,” he said. “He also had a great sense of humor, and an uncanny ability to read people; I liked to say he had a sophisticated BS detector. He was a great husband and father.”

Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife, Karen Simpson, their son, Scott Simpson, and their three grandchildren.
