(Filed Under Fashion News). Bare Necessities has re-entered into a partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), and has agreed to donate at least $10,000 to the nonprofit by the end of this year in support of breast cancer research.
Bare Necessities also partnered with BCRF in 2010, and donated $16,000 through sales of bras and lingerie. The online intimate apparel retailer hopes to exceed that figure this year through online campaigns.
The company will launch its 2011 online campaign by giving one Facebook fan two tickets to a concert featuring Sting and Elton John at BCRF’s annual Hot Pink Party fundraiser on April 14. The next day, Bare Necessities will launch its Mother’s Day campaign, during which the company will donate $5 to BCRF for every order purchased from the website’s "Mother’s Day Gift Boutique."
