Leg Avenue Hires Two Reps

(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Leg Avenue has hired two new sales representatives, Erica Martinez, who is responsible for southern Texas, southern Louisiana and Mississippi, and Rena Balsis who is covering Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. The two are company employees as opposed to independent reps. In recent years Leg Avenue has been replacing independent reps with its own sales team.

Martinez had previously worked as “sales manager for a window film maker” covering ten southern states. Interviewed at the Leg Avenue booth at the International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas Sunday, she added, “It’s fun, it’s exciting. I’ve never done this before. It’s a lot better than window film. Everyone has great things to say about the company and the people that run the company.”

She started in February. Her email is emartinez@legavenue.com.

Balsis, who went the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, previously worked for Serfontaine, a denim producer, as part of the sales team on the west coast. “I’m filling some pretty big shoes,” she declared during the same interview at the ILS. “The Murphy’s were the reps before,” she said, referring to Murphy Sales of Minneapolis. “ I am building up what they already have” in the territory.” She continued, “I am having fun learning the business.” Balsis started earlier this month. Her email is rbalsis@legavenue.com.
