(Filed Under wholesale Activewear News). Champion Athleticwear claims to have solved some of the most common sports bra complaints with Spot Comfort, its newly launched collection.
“In developing Spot Comfort, we began by asking women to identify their biggest problem areas with sports bras,” said Kathy Hare, senior manager of Champion Women’s. “Issues such as strap dig-in, ventilation, chafing, support and shaping all came through loud and clear.”
Taking this feedback into account, Champion said it developed Spot Comfort by identifying solutions for specific areas, such as using gel-filled straps to alleviate dig-in, supportive yet lightweight mesh panels for ventilation, ultra-soft fabric to eliminate chafing and molded cups to provide support through encapsulation rather than compression.
Spot Comfort currently includes two sports bras, one that is available in an the “average figure” sizes of S through XL, and a full-support style that runs in sizes 34C through 42DDD.
Hanesbrands Inc. is the parent company of Champion Athleticwear.
