(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). National Mill Industry, which makes intimate apparel under the Carnival Creations label, has bought a 70,000 square foot building and is the process of moving all operations there.

Located at 22 Jackson Dr. in Cranford, N.J., the building includes a distribution center. It also houses a 10,000-square-foot office, double the size of the current office, which is located at 500 Commerce Rd. in Linden, N.J.

Joey Cohen, vice president, said the larger space is necessary for the office staff, as the company recently expanded its design team from one person to a team of three.

This move marks a consolidation. Up until now, National Mill has run an office and two distribution centers, one measuring 23,000 square feet and the other 28,000, all at different locations. “Combining all operations under one roof will help us streamline our businesses, including offering faster shipping,” said Cohen.

Cohen said he expects the office to move within the next 60 to 90 days. All telephone numbers and e-mail addresses will remain the same.
