(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Velda Lauder Corsetiere, a British maker of high-end corsets and accompanying products, has introduced Gothikka II for fall/winter 2011 as a complement to its original Gothikka collection. Designer Velda Lauder sent these new designs down the runway at January’s Salon International de la Lingerie show in Paris.
Velda Lauder described Gothikka as a new power mesh and lycra collection of ‘corset complements’ designed to “enhance and put the finishing touch on the corset wearing experience," including shrugs, gloves, sheer and satin undertops, flowing skirts and bloomers. The company will stock the original collection every season. Gothikka II, launching only for fall/winter, introduces styles in deep red and pale nude satin.
In addition to the original Gothikka styles, Gothikka II encompasses babydolls, long kimonos and the best-selling long-line girdle dress. “These new ‘corset complements’ are perfect for our new coordinating silk and satin corsets,” said Lauder. Wholesale prices are £18 for accessories, including opera-length gloves, nipple tassels and sleep masks; £22 for shrugs and off-the-shoulder tops; and £30 for long kimono coats. Black satin corsets start at £65, silk corsets at £150 and Swarovski crystal corsets at £280.
The company also showed Gottikka II at the Oxford Fashion Week runway show in March, and will have a sample sale during the Vitality Show in London from March 24 through 27.
