(Filed Under wholesale Dancewear News). Forplay is launching a new 2009 dancewear line, which will be ready for purchase by early February.

The line will run in sizes SM and ML at an average wholesale price of the low-to-mid-$20s.

"Like the rest of our dancewear, this line is very high quality, and has a lot of intricate details and unique pieces," the company's account executive, Angelica M. Van, said. "This year we have added more rompers, the colors are nice and bold, and there are embellishments like ribbons and fringe. These are the kind of pieces a dancer can throw on and instantly look great."

Styles include "Vicious": a black polyester and spandex metallic romper with silver chains and holes outlining the sides. Van said, "Even though this is just one piece, it does a lot. Just throw on some shoes and you are ready to go."

Also in the collection is "Shag Charm," which is white with black polka dots, and includes a bikini top and bottom, wristlets, and a turquoise-fur hood and legwarmers. A third style "Show Stopper" is see-through black with hot-pink ribbons, and includes a bra and bottom with fringe. "This is a very sexy outfit, and the top has intricate French-style detailing. There is also a ribbon that you can tie up your leg in place of legwear," Van commented.
