(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Chico’s FAS Inc., the owner of the intimate apparel concept Soma, has named Kent Kleeberger executive vice president and C.O.O, to replace Jeffrey Jones, who is retiring from the company on March 7.
Kleeberger has worked for Chico’s FAS since November 2007 as executive vice president of finance and C.F.O. Previously, he was senior vice president and C.F.O of Dollar Tree Stores Inc. starting in 2004. He has also worked for Tween Brands, now Ascena Retail Group; The Limited and Shoe Carnival.
Kleeberger will retain his financial duties until Chico’s FAS hires a C.F.O to replace him. The company is currently conducting an internal and external search for this position.
Chico’s FAS operates 1,151 women’s specialty stores, including 119 Soma boutiques and outlet stores, 596 Chico’s boutiques and outlets, and 342 boutiques and 21 outlets under the White House | Black Market brand.
