(Filed Under Technology News). QuestaWeb Inc, a provider of web-based global trade management solutions, has released the web-based 10 2 (ISF) Module.
The 10 2 is designed to help companies comply with the new Importer Security Filing (ISF) regulation, which will take effect on January 26th. The module supports use in either a manual or automated mode and facilitates data submissions. Built-in communication capabilities update the information as worldwide trade conditions change. It also eliminates transaction fees for filing and amending ISFs.
"Many importers are now weighing the options for how to comply with 10 2 when it takes effect. Most surveys indicate companies plan to have their customs broker file on their behalf. This approach will create additional costs, which may be more significant for companies with moderate to high entry volumes," the company's vice president of sales, Wayne Slossberg said, "QuestaWeb's 10 2 module gives importers the technology to manage and communicate the required information efficiently."
