(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). Lolita-Girl Clothing Company, a maker of pin-up inspired swimwear and dresses, has added 15 one and two-piece styles to its Poolside line of swimwear.
The new suits are available in solids and prints, including the company’s best-selling polka dots and the vintage-styled Hawaiian look. They wholesale from $49 to $58. As with the rest of Lolita-Girl’s styles, they are available in sizes S through XL.
The company said it has experienced overwhelming success since launching the Poolside line in 2008. “Since we are located in southern California, the surfwear capital of the world, it was a natural progression for us to move into swimwear,” said Maureen Fokos, head designer and co-founder of Lolita-Girl. “[We] specialize in a unique look and vibe that we like to call post-modern vintage.”
The company added that the Lolita-Girl brand as a whole has been very successful, and it plans to introduce approximately 60 styles this year. Retailers carrying the brand include Unique Vintage in Burbank, Calif., Cheeky Cherri in Canada, Vintage Fashion Lounge in Australia and Glamrock Clothing in the Netherlands, among others.
