(Filed Under wholesale Costume News). The partnership between Jimmy Wang and David Davutoglu has come to an end, Davutoglu told BODY.

Davutoglu said that he has split from Mystery House Costumes, and is running Starline, a label geared toward the specialty market, while Wang continues to manage Mystery House. Davutoglu described Starline as offering unique, well-made costumes and on-time delivery. The lowest price point for this line will be $60.

Davutoglu told BODY that he has chosen to leave Mystery House because he and Wang did not see eye to eye. He was also dissatisfied with the quality and fit of the line and its shipping issues. Randy Shrier, the Mystery House designer, has moved over to Starline, he said, while Wang will maintain the Frederick’s of Hollywood licensing business.

Wang did not return repeated phone messages at the time of press.
