(Filed Under wholesale Maternity News). B*Up, a sleepwear and loungewear brand launched in May 2009, is introducing its first nursing collection, called Bella.
Fatima Walsh, sales director of the Miami-based company, reported that B*Up designed the collection due to demand. “We always listen to our customers, and they were asking for a nursing line that was comfortable without being too matronly,” she said. “We have combined our trendy designs with our soft, [100 percent Pima cotton] fabric to create something that will make every mom feel good in her own skin.”
Bella’s introductory collection consists of basic tops in black, ivory and white, which B*Up plans to carry year-round, including a three-quarter sleeve chemise, and sleeveless, long-sleeved and short-sleeved styles. Running in sizes S through XL, they include a built-in bralette with easy nursing access. Wholesale prices are $34 to $43.
According to Walsh, the cut of the collection offers support and fit to women as they fluctuate between sizes post-pregnancy. “The material is loose, but it also offers shape and support,” she said.
The collection will ship to stores in December, including Intimacy locations.
