(Filed Under wholesale Socks News). Kushyfoot, a sock and hosiery company, whose products are made by Doris International, will launch its newest solution to going sockless: the Kushyfoot shoe cushion.
Set for a March 2009 launch, the shoe cushions are trimmable nude or black foam insoles that incorporate the trademarked 3D surface design with the same reflexology-inspired foot-massaging concepts as Kushyfoot legwear, said the company.
“We’ve designed Kushyfoot versions to suit virtually every standard shoe design and silhouette,” said Mitch Brown, president of the company. “But there are always a few that slip the net – and there are at times going to be situations where you simply aren’t going to want to wear a sock or footcover, hard as it is to admit. Therefore, we have designed our new Kushyfoot shoe cushions to solve this problem.”
The new cushions are available in full sole as well as a partial sole. Both have white toe prints and adhesive backs for extra stability. The full sole is at a suggested retail price of $8.99 and at $5.99 for the partial sole. Each package contains two pair, one black and one nude that fit sizes 5 to 9 in women’s shoes. There will also be two pair options in both black and nude only.
“Our mission at Kushyfoot is to leave no shoe-wearing situation untouched by the magic of our products,” said Brown. “With the introduction of our shoe cushions, we have taken another important step toward achieving our goal.”
In addition, the company is also launching new foot covers and a reflexology-inspired flip flop, something the company has never offered before.
“Flip flops have been a footwear factor for years, but only now there is a true fashion-comfort choice,” said Brown. “By incorporating our reflexology-inspired concept to the footbed, we have taken this basic item to an entirely innovative and improved level.”
Also set for a March 2009 launch, the new flip flops, which have a footbed that massages and cushions the feet, is available in 5 two-tone colors and a single tone black, all with versatile clear straps in sizes 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10. They are at a suggested retail price of $5.99.
“The best advances seem obvious once they’ve been made, and this is one of them, “ said Brown. “As soon as we came up with the Kushyfoot version of a flip flop, all I could think was why on earth we hadn’t done it before. We are sure that consumers will love the product and expect it to be extremely well-received.”see more
