(Filed Under wholesale Sleepwear News). BedHead Pajamas, an offshoot of various design projects launched by Renee Claire over the past ten years, is launching its Spring/Summer 2009 collection.

The brand is known for its bright and cheery fabrications and this new collection upholds that image with designs including bold floral prints in several silhouettes.

Claire, the designer, said the collection has a garden influence and a tropical motif, which comes in a variety of prints and cuts catering to many personality types. “We try to hit all personality types: conservative, fun, romantic and sexy,” said Claire.

Styles include: cotton classic pajama set (the brand’s most popular cut); cotton hipster pajama set; ¾ sleeve top and capri pant set; short cap sleeve gown; long cap sleeve gown; short sleeve mandarin top and low-rise pant set; cotton corset top and low-rise pant set; cotton chemise; cami top and capri pant set; swing chemise; short kimono robe; cotton robes; luxe robes; and spa robes, which is an eco-friendly garment made from 70 percent bamboo and 30 percent organic cotton. All styles are produced in the U.S. and are available in sizes petit through XL and with an additional charge of $10 the garments can be altered to fit up to a 3X.

In addition, due to several requests and a successful private label for Pea in the Pod in maternity, the company is launching its first collection of maternity pajamas with a similar cut to the classic pajama set. The maternity line currently has seven styles available. “We chose prints that we thought would lend themselves to this category,” said Claire.

The new collection will launch around February 15th.
