On the evening of September 15, Triumph International kicked off London Fashion Week with a runway show featuring designs by intimate apparel novices vying for its third annual Triumph Inspiration award. The judges’ panel, which included, among others, Helena Christensen; Rankin and Suzanne McKenna, the head of global brand management for Triumph, named Nikolay Bojilov of Bulgaria the winner for his “Morphology” design.
Bojilov was awarded 15,000 Euros and the opportunity to work alongside Triumph’s design team in Hong Kong to turn his showpiece into a commercial garment. It will be sold as a limited edition style in Triumph stores in summer 2011.
Amaya Carcamo from Spain and Ludovico Loffreda from Italy scooped up the second and third place awards, respectively. The second prize award was 10,000 Euros, while the third place award was 5,000 Euros.
