(Filed Under wholesale Shapewear News). Body Adonay is a 15-year-old Mexican shapewear brand that made its U.S. show debut at this August’s CurveNV.

Currently most of the company’s sales are in Mexico and Guatemala, with only “a few customers in the U.S.,” mainly consisting of retailers in Los Angeles.

Body Adonay produces about 30 shapewear pieces of various functions, with 20 for women and the rest for men. Waist cinchers wholesale from $15 to $25.

Monica L. Hurtado de Villerreal, sales manager and one of the founders of Body Adonay, told BODY: “14 years ago I gave birth to our beautiful son. A doctor said my body would return to its original shape, naturally. That is not true.” So regaining her waistline became a strong motivating factor. “That is why we’re in business. I perfected [our waist cincher].”
