(Filed Under wholesale Activewear News). Lupo, a Miami-based label spanning a variety of categories, is replenishing its fitness offerings by introducing Lupo Sport for spring 2011.
According to Nilsara Piereck, president of Lupo, the Sport Collection deepens the brand’s stake in activewear. “We currently have a fitness line, but we are introducing this new collection with a wider variety of products, and [are] putting more emphasis on the higher quality of this new line,” she said. “The new collection includes Dry Fit technology, [which keeps the wearer dry with a high-tech design and fiber composition for maximum breathability and ventilation], and a much larger selection.”
Shipping to stores next March, Sport offers men’s and women’s styles, including yoga wear, loungewear and items intended for more high-impact exercise, all in sizes S through XL. Features are seamless silhouettes that mold to the body, and high-quality comfort that does not hinder movement, according to Lupo. Most styles come with an Ipod/MP3 pouch. Wholesale prices run from approximately $17 to $26.
Signature styles include the Max Core Legging, offered in dark blue, gray and black and wholesaling for $17.07; and the Regatta Training Tank with built-in back support, available in white, pink and yellow and wholesaling for $18.30. Capris, sports bras and T-shirts round out the collection.
Target retailers are those that carry activewear and gymwear, as well as stores that want to widen their selection by adding a new category of clothing.
Lupo (LupoAmerica.com) is a Brazilian intimate apparel brand distributed by PGF Miami Corp. In addition to activewear, the label’s merchandise categories include lingerie, shapewear, hosiery and loungewear, among others.
