Victoria's Secret Up to 1047 Stores
(Filed Under Fashion News). As of January 3, 2009, Victoria's Secret had 1,047 stores nationwide, compared to 1,020 stores in January 2008.
During the first nine months of the company's fiscal year (ended November 1, 2008) it had opened 41 new Victoria's Secret stores and closed 16. The company is not yet releasing expansion or contraction plans for 2009.
In an email a spokesperson told BODY "It is too premature for us to discuss the number of store openings planned for 2009, and we do not discuss future store closings."
