(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). In designing its spring/summer 2011 beachwear collection, Italy-based Parah S.P.A. focused on “the discerning woman, who likes to be seen without showing off, while retaining her vivacity, intensity and spirit.”
With this customer in mind, the company has taken inspiration from the mix and match look with fluorescent microfiber prints combined with solid shades in underwire and wire-free swimsuits, which range from bodyshaping one-pieces to bikinis. Garments are embellished with semi-precious stones, chains and chrome rings. In addition to vibrant shades of turquoise and coral red, suits are available in black, white and brown.
This season, Parah has also included beach-appropriate halter dresses, baggy pants and sandals.
Retailers carrying Parah in the United States include SwimwearBoutique.com and NancyMeyer.com. The company’s beachwear retails from approximately $103 to $416.
In addition to beachwear, Parah S.P.A. produces luxury lingerie, sleepwear and loungewear.
