(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). According to several reports, Primark, a UK-based discount retailer, has pulled a children’s bathing suit with a padded bikini top from its shelves. According to The Associated Press this decision came after British tabloid The Sun ran an article blasting the store for selling padded bras geared toward 7-year-old girls.
Primark said on April 14 that it will stop selling the bikinis immediately, and will donate all profits made from the product to a children’s charity.
