The company launched the style 375 Extra Lightweight Breast Form with Flowable Back, its first form in this category, in January. Both the Butterfly and the Triangle are made with lightweight “whipped” silicone that the company reported is 35 percent lighter than standard silicone.

The new Butterfly form also features a flowable back pouch, which the company said, “Has been designed to fit women who need greater fill by the side of the arm or along the center of the chest by the breast bone.

“With today’s modified surgeries more natural tissue is being left on a woman’s body making it difficult for a breast form to make full contact in the areas that have been removed. Without good contact a form may feel heavy or move around in a bra. This Butterfly shape can be turned in different directions to allow the silicone gel to fill any indention.”

According to the company, extra lightweight forms are also recommended for women who have problems wearing heavier silicone forms due to health issues such as arthritis, or who have less dense remaining breast tissue.
