True to its name, the Light collection offers a less firm compression than the company’s Classic Collection, which vice president of marketing Thiago Pasos is sure will benefit retailers. “It will significantly increase sales for our business-to-business customers,” he remarked. “The Light Collection was created for consumers who do not necessarily want dramatic shaping results, which they can get from our Classic Collection. These consumers seek lighter compression, comfort and smoothness. But don’t get me wrong, it’s still compressive and will offer shaping results. For retailers that already carry our products, this is a great addition to the line because it doesn’t compete with our Classic Collection and will bring new customers into their stores.”

Squeem is launching the collection at a special promotional price, varying from $13.99 to $29.99 wholesale, for an in-store launch of June 1. In an effort to help their retail partners, the company is offering an additional 10 percent discount for all orders placed until May 31. The collection includes four styles consisting of a high waist, brief, body brief and full body, with three running from S through XL and one running available up to a 2XL. The company plans to make all styles available up to 2XL in the near future. Silhouettes are constructed in Brazil from poliamide and elastane for compression, blended with premium cotton for smoothness and comfort. In addition to the U.S. market, the collection is launching in Brazil and Europe.

Although the company has just begun promoting the Light Collection, select clients have already placed pre-orders, according to Pasos. He remarked: “We expect all our retailers to pick up the line within the next weeks, among them: Walgreens, Ashley Stewart, Amazon.com, Herroom.com, Fashion to Figure, [and more]. The Light Collection adds value to our product line and comes with our renowned quality, service, fulfillment ability, etc. With time, we expect the Light Collection to surpass sales of our Classic Collection.”
